THE SOUND BEE HD

The band was formed by vocalist DaISUKE DARK SIDE in 2000 as his solo project after he ended his activities with the major 90s band media youth.

They were signed to Starwave Records in 2010 and several releases have delighted their fans after that. Works like Hachi, Doku, Hana, and A-De carried a Japanese Gothic taste, while albums like SOU and cross brought with them a more aggressive sound.

After guitarist Yuu joined the band in 2014, their albums DAWN OF THE DEAD, BLooD RaiN, and WALKING DEAD took them in the dark and horror-like direction that has now become their trademark. The link between dead and life is profoundly explored in ENDLESS DEAD and DEAD SILENCE, while their following mini-album First Blood has been described as their heaviest work so far.

Besides their activities in Japan, THE SOUND BEE HD have performed in the USA (2010, 2013, 2018, 2019), China (2016), and Mexico (2019). Their unique style has caught the attention of the Japanese media, which led them to be featured on variety TV shows like Ariyoshi Hanseikai and Sonota no hito ni attemita. The multifaceted members are often participating in additional projects; the members DaISUKE DARK SIDE, YOU and Yuu even made their debut as actors in the independent movie BUGS in 2019.

In the Visual Kei scene, dominated by male musicians, they stand out for being a band with a female bass player. They are known as the “shinigami (gods of death) band”.

La banda fue formada en el año 2000 como el proyecto en solitario del vocalista DaISUKE DARK SIDE, después de haber concluido sus actividades con la popular banda de los 90’s media youth.

Firmaron con Starwave Records en 2010 y desde entonces han encantado a sus fans con una larga lista de lanzamientos. Trabajos como Hachi, Doku, Hana y A-De poseen un toque japonés gótico, mientras que álbumes como SOU y cross trajeron consigo un sonido más agresivo.

Después de que el guitarrista Yuu se uniera a la banda en 2014, sus álbumes DAWN OF THE DEAD, BLooD RaiN y WALKING DEAD los llevaron al camino oscuro y terrorífico por el que son conocidos ahora. El vínculo entre la muerte y la vida se explora profundamente en ENDLESS DEAD y DEAD SILENCE, mientras que su lanzamiento First Blood es descrito como su trabajo más pesado hasta el momento.

Adicional a sus actividades en Japón, THE SOUND BEE HD se ha presentado en Estados Unidos, China y México. Su estilo único ha llamado la atención de los medios japoneses, apareciendo en programas de televisión como Ariyoshi Hanseikai y Sonota no hito ni attemita . Los multifacéticos miembros a menudo participan en otros proyectos e incluso los integrantes DaISUKE DARK SIDE, YOU y Yuu hicieron su debut en cine con la película independiente BUGS en 2019.

Dentro de la escena Visual Kei, dominada por músicos masculinos, destacan por ser un grupo con una bajista femenina. Se les ha apodado como la “banda de shinigamis” (dioses de la muerte).
